How do I install the 46048 cartridge on my Ladylux/Zedra faucet?

The following steps explain how to install the Cartridge, part number 46048000, on the Ladylux/Zedra faucets prior to 2019.

*Please note, the black ring included with the 46048000 replacement cartridge, will not be used in this installation.

Steps:

1. Turn off the water supply.
2. Using a 3mm Allen wrench (or 9/32 socket), loosen the lever and pull off of the cartridge adapter.
3. Rotate the dome-shaped cap 180° counterclockwise and gently pull off of the guide ring.
4. Using a Phillips head screwdriver, remove the two screws holding the retaining ring in place and remove ring.
5. Pull out the cartridge.
6. Remove the handle adapter from the old cartridge
7. The 46632V00 guide ring will be reused when installing the new cartridge. Ensure the correct orientation during installation.
   1. Position the ring on the cartridge with the two smaller tabs at the top and the larger tab at the bottom.
   2. The tabs should be closest to the cartridge body.
8. Reinstall the dome-shaped cap, with the opening facing upward, and rotate it clockwise 180° until the opening is facing downward.
9. Install the lever and tighten the 3mm set screw.
10. Turn on the water supply.
